Tom Kehoe of Yards talks to the class

Yes, after a year off, we will have BeerAppreciation classes again at the Main Line School Night in Radnor. Registration is now open, and we always sell out, so don’t miss it. The course of three classes begin on May 5th at 7pm Wednesday nights – each class  including a tutored beer tasting of interesting and unusual beers.

Over the years we’ve had many great guests from the Philadelphia beer cognoscenti (real local beer people!) speak to the class — including Tom Kehoe and Frank Winslow of Yards, Chris Firey of the Manayunk Brewery, Tom Peters of Monks, George Hummel of Home Sweet Home Brew (and the MidAtlantic Brewing News), renowned beer author Lew Bryson, Brian McConnell of Rock Bottom, Chris O’Brien the Beer Activist, Rich Wagner of the Pennsylvania Brewing Historians – to name just a few.

This session we will be joined in a class by Don Russell  “Joe Sixpack” from the Daily News for a lecture and tasting. You won’t want to miss that. Details of the class contents will be posted on my site soon.

So give the class to your favorite beer appreciator as a Valentine’s gift, or Easter, or well give it to yourself!
