Tuesday Night June 5th – The 3rd Annual Oakmont Cup Beer Competition
- Sample 10 of the best homebrews in the area as organized by John Reynolds “Brew Your Own Beer” at the Oakmont National Pub in Havertown. This is our third year, and it’s up to you to decide the champion again – at no cost to you! Come and sample and vote, prizes will be awarded! I will be your master of ceremonies again, and I am eager to share with you some great Belgian styles from local brewers. From 7pm – 9pm Tuesday night. Don’t miss it.
Thursday Night June 7th – Lagunitas Night at the Oakmont Pub
We turn over the taps to the fabulous crazy hoppy beers of Petaluma California’s Lagunitas brewery. Specials all night – including the not-to-be-forgotten (and hard to find) Imperial Red. Talk with Trevor from the brewery and try some really great northern California beers! Eagle and Darby Roads in Havertown.
It’s finally open! Tired Hands, Ardmore’s first brewery – at Ardmore Avenue and Lancaster Ave.
Yes – Jean Broilet and his team have done a GREAT job putting together a casual but hip new brew pub, with 8 of his amazing fresh brewed beers on tap. They are now open 4pm – Midnight and are also serving artesian bread and panini – but the beer is the center of attention. Come by and meet Jean and his crew and enjoy fresh made Ardmore beer during Philly Beer Week or anytime.
